Murray Trantor studied investment opportunities in Ireland, The Netherlands, UK, Germany, Finland, Canada and the USA on behalf of a Private Venture Capital company based in the USA. Advised on suitability of technology, competitive environment, market analysis, built business and financial models and have advised on spectrum, regulatory and operational issues.

Murry acted as an Expert Witness for a firm of Belfast Solicitors acting for the defendant in a Crown Court case.

He has advised major European incumbents on the potential of starting a Directory Enquiries business in competition with BT. Including a major French Electrical Engineering company on their entry strategy to the Telecommunications sector and the potential opportunity of Local Loop Unbundling.

He has also advised a major European incumbent on its Broadband Access strategic plans.

In the early part of 2000 he completed a series of projects establishing a practical business case and implementation plan for a new Broadband Access company in the UK on behalf of a major European company with a potential Capex of £2.8bn over 10 years.
